About us

Crust is an artisanal bakery that opened in 2014 at 118 Main Street in Worcester. We opened our second location at 1 West Boylston Street in Worcester in 2020. We offer an array of breakfast pastries, handmade croissants, rustic breads, & sandwiches (breakfast & lunch). In 2022 we purchased BirchTree Bread Company in the Canal District. 

In her second year as an employee of Crust, Alexis met Nate Rossi (a sous chef at the time). It was love at first waffle and the two have been practically inseparable since 2016.

Together, Alexis & Nate opened North Main Provisions - a wine, cheese, and provisions shop - conveniently located next door to Crust. Alexis & Nate both feel committed to making & sharing delicious food. Through Crust & North Main Provisions the two seek to share memorable food experiences.

In August 2020 Alexis & Nate had the opportunity to open a second location in Worcester at 1 West Boylston Street, in Chadwick Court. With the help of an amazing team and a supportive community, Crust has expanded to a second location in the city we love so dearly. We continue to strive for excellence as we share our favorite foods and flavors with Worcester.

When the two aren't working or eating bread/wine/cheese they are playing with their son or taking day trips around New England.
